Associate Director/Director DMPK
We are looking for an Associate Director/Director of DMPK to help discover a new generation of small molecule cancer therapeutics. The successful candidate will be an integral member of a diverse drug discovery team, with ample opportunity to progress their career development in drug discovery.
Job Description
This key position will work in multi-disciplinary teams as an expert in DMPK to provide DMPK support and strategies to preclinical and clinical projects. The qualified candidate must be able to apply advanced PK, PK/PD, and drug metabolism sciences to actively address drug discovery and development related issues, and be able to design, analyze, and interpret preclinical and clinical PK, PK/PD, TK, and drug metabolism studies. The qualified candidate is also expected to participate in the preparation of DC and IND enabling study reports, regulatory documentations.
Qualifications
Education:
- PhD in bio-engineering, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related area with 8-10 years relevant biotech/ pharmaceutical experience.
Minimum Experience:
- Industry experience working as a DMPK project representative in preclinical or clinical projects. Expertise in PKPD modeling using NONMEM and or other modeling, simulation and statistical tools.
- Advanced training in WinNonlin, WinNonmix, and NONMEM is required.
- Expertise in human PK and dose projection, and experience designing and interpreting human PK/PD studies is a plus.
- Experience in bioanalytical, drug metabolism, transporter or formulation areas is a plus, as well as experience in oncology drug discovery and development
- Previous experience preparing and reviewing documentation to be included in regulatory submittals.
- Experience working with CROs.
- Excel at working in a highly collaborative, team environment, and have good organizational and communication skills.
